Lucuma is becoming more and more popular as a natural sweetener. We like to add our Lucuma Powder to smoothies, yoghurt,mix it into desserts and baked goods to add both sweetness and a whole host of nutritional goodness.

Lucy Bee Lucuma Powder is a natural sweetener and can be used in smoothies, yoghurt, home bakes and desserts, such as mousse, brownies. It also works in soups, sauces or dishes requiring a hint of sweetness.

Lucuma fruit is a fruit native to Peru, which looks similar to an apricot but tastes different. Eaten raw, the fruit has a dry texture so it’s more usually used in juices and shakes. Lucuma powder is the dried fruit which is milled to a powder and used as a natural sweetener.
- How to Make Lucuma Ice Cream?
2 frozen bananas
250ml almond milk
1 tbsp. Lucy Bee Coconut Oil
1 tbsp. Lucy Bee Lucuma Powder
1 tsp. vanilla essence
FOR THE TOPPING:
- In a food processor blitz together, all of the ingredients.
- Transfer to a covered container and freeze for 30 minutes, or longer.
- Remove from the freezer, top with the pecans and allow to stand for a few minutes before serving.
